Saudi, Australian defense ministers discuss regional security, condemn Houthi attacks

RIYADH — Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman held a phone call with his Australian counterpart, Richard Marles, to discuss bilateral defense cooperation and regional security developments. During the call with Australia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister, the two officials explored ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination between Saudi Arabia and Australia in the defense sector. The ministers also reaffirmed their shared commitment to addressing current regional challenges in a manner that supports security and stability. Both officials condemned the Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia.
