Saudi Arabia recalls 94 Honda motorcycles over risk of losing control
RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce has recalled 94 Honda CMX500 motorcycles over a gear-shift defect that could cause riders to lose control. The recall covers motorcycles from model years 2023 to 2025 due to a defect that could result in loss of control while riding, increasing the risk of an accident. According to the ministry, the defect involves the gear-shift lever mounting bolt, which could detach and cause riders to lose control of the motorcycle. Owners are advised to check whether their motorcycle’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is included in the recall through Recalls.sa. The ministry urged affected owners to contact Abdullah Hashim Company Ltd. at 8001199988 to arrange the necessary repairs free of charge.
